AzTec is being supported by both ASU (that's the ASU number you call in Phoenix) and the University of Arizona. I believe that NAU is also considering being a supporter. FreeNets have always enjoyed strong academic backing -- the first was a joint project of the Case Western library, library school and computer department. As you point out, the Annex terminal servers are configured by the UA system managers to prevent casual telnetting. So, yes, responsible people at UA do know. -- Mari Stoddard stoddard@aruba.ccit.arizona.edu Arizona Health Sciences Library, University of Arizona 520 / 626-2925 (voice) 520 626-2922 (fax) URL: http://amber.medlib.arizona.edu/homepage.html
