Upon second reading, I was expecting a comeback more like, "And if you don't
stop, you'll go blind."

True story:

A certain lady, let's call her "Moira" for convenience, was enrolled in a tough
biology class. The day after a particulary excruciating quiz, the professor
defended its merit.

"That was hardly even a quiz," He said, "Just a little quizzie."

Moira responded, "If that was a quizzie, I'd hate to see your testes."

Her face began emitting strongly in the near-infrared a moment later.
