If you live in the Phoenix metropolitan area, we need your help!!! In the
past year, we have lost two siamese cats. The first one, Sam, was a
17-year-old seal point, neutered, declawed. About a week before
Halloween, he got out late one night when we let our outdoor cat out.
When we realized he had gotten out, we searched EVERYWHERE in the
neighborhood. There's just not a whole lot of ground a 17-year-old cat
can cover! He was gone. My husband had owned Sam since he was about 14
years old. Recently, my husband decided to get a cat from the Humane
society. Ironically, there was a beautiful siamese there named Jasper.
Jasper is 3 years old, a seal point, a neutered male. Friday night
(5/10/96), our roomate accidentally let Jasper (who we renamed "Seymour")
out. Within approximately 2 hours of the time when he must have gotten
out, we were again out combing the neighborhood. Seymour is gone. Today
(5/12/96), I spent much of the day knocking on doors (I knocked on 52
doors--would have done more if not for the heat!). Seymour has tags.
When let out, he was wearing a baby blue collar with his tags on it with
our phone number. He is a VERY affectionate cat--long and slender with a
long nose. He is also very talkative (he may be mistaken as mean due to
his 10-second-long meow).

IF ANYONE HAS TAKEN SAM OR SEYMOUR IN, PLEASE CALL US AND RETURN THEM TO
US!! WE MISS THEM VERY MUCH!!

My biggest fear is that someone is either driving around our neighborhood
picking up animals that don't belong to them, or they are trapping them,
or they are destroying them somehow (I could have sworn I heard gunshots
the night Seymour got out). If you have any information to corroborate
this, please email me and let me know. Also, I implore you to please talk
to all of your friends about this in an effort that through word of mouth,
we will get our Seymour back!!

Thanks for your time and caring!
