Folks there is a bill called HR 4418 regarding graduate stipend tax
exemption.  Please call your representatives and senators to request
their support for this bill.  In the Stanford area, representative,
Prof Tom Campbell's number is +1 408 245-4835.

If you do not know the number for your representative or senator,
please call +1 800 555 1212 to ask for the federal information center,
another 800.  Then dial this second 800 number and they would give you
the number and address for your representative.

All stipends used to be free as of three-four years back, but the then
administration (Reagan?)  changed policies.

Folks, don't delay, please call!  NOW!!  Thank you.
