I bought a CellularOne phone contract recently and have been very disappointed in it's coverage. I took a motorcycle ride to Mariposa and was unable to dial home. Was supposed to go into the roam mode and allow me to dial home from anywhere except possibly remotest places. Next tried from Mendocino... same results... I might have expected that one but a friend who had a GTE (I think) was able to dial home. Finally, on my trip home from AZ this weekend I took a ride up Hwy 395 and was not successful anywhere on that route. But the final straw was no connection from South Shore in Tahoe.. a "reasonably major" city. I think this is horrible service... anyone know if it's possible to break these contracts due to lack of performance... other then paying a rediculous amount per the contract verbage. -- Bill Splaine, Healdsburg, CA '96 FLHTCU, AMA, CMA, HOG, N6GHG, NAIC, ETC :)
