He is not a happy camper if he is not able to make "enough" money off you or your insurance company. He required $75 deposit, to be refunded when he get paid by my insurance. When he found that my medical payment limit was $1000, he called it "shitty" and tried to talk me into paying out of my own pocket. Then he agreed to 8 sessions of treatment first, which was supposed to be under $1000. After the treatment was over, I decided not to continue. I called and asked if they were reimbursed by my insurance. The receptionist said they were. I then asked when I could expect to get my $75 back. She mumbled something about I owed them more instead, and then transferred to Chevalier. He then mumbled about providing extra care which was worth more than $1000. I insisted on getting back my $75 deposit, and he threatened that he will send along with the refund check an additional bill for the extra care he supposedly has provided and I didn't know about. The refund check for $75 arrived with the bill, but there was nothing about the extra care. The total bill miraculously was exactly $1000. By coincidence, my insurance company stopped payment on the check around the same time because of a paperwork mixup. Chevalier called next day and then mumbled something about sending it to collection unless I pay immediately. I called insurance company and straightened out the mixup. They reissued the check right away, and called Chevalier to tell him that the check is on the way. TEAM Clinic received the new check, but I got the collection notice a few weeks later. At the same time, I got a letter from my bank stating that $75 check from TEAM clinic has been cancelled. I had to get a copy of the payment record from my insurance company, send a copy to the collection. Meanwhile, I'm still out of my deposit.
