Hello All:

A friend of mine from overseas will be coming for a visit. While here
he would like to purchase an iPhone without AT&T service.

Are there any stores here in the San Francisco Bay Area or Las Vegas
which sells iPhones without a service?

Thanks,

Deguza

...and without the phone feature, he might consider the Nokia N810
instead. It has Skype built-in, so you can make phone calls as long as
you have either Wi-Fi handy or a Bluetooth modem. The display is a
little bigger than the iPod Touch (4.1" instead of 3.5"), but has more
than twice the resolution (800x480 instead of 480x320).

If he really wants an iPhone without service, he'll have to go on eBay.

(For the record, I have no financial connection with Nokia, I'm just
really happy with my new toy, which I primarily got as an e-book reader.)
