Opps..I put my original post in the wrong place so I will try to
repeat it here:

After working in South Bay Real Estate for more than 20 years.I found
out by experience that people do not want the cheapest when it comes
to selling their biggest investment. That is why the discount concept
hasn't taken off. and why people do not go to Walmart to purchase Real
Estate. I can come up with a long list of reasons not to use these
brokerages. Getting down to the basic question of why do they do it,
and why are they giving their money away?. The reason is this; they
have to give money, rebates, and vacations to Hawaail because their
own marketing plan for attracting customers has failed. Lets suppose
that you hire an agent from one on these companies is  that agent
going to you the same failed  marketing plan. Is the agent going to
offer money to attract buyers for your home(your money)trying to sell
it.
