Description:

Responsible for all marketing communications with the goal of
maximizing market awareness and lead generation. 

The tasks required of this position include managing a staff of
employees and contractors; managing public relations with the press
and analysts, as well as overseeing all press releases and agency
activities; coordinating the production of data sheets, white papers,
technical briefs, and other marketing collateral and corporate
communications.

Event management, including our seminar program, user group meetings,
and trade shows is also required.

Other responsibilities include managing the telemarketing function,
mailing programs, and fulfillment process.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree is required with a minimum of six years experience
in industrial/Fortune-500 software marketing.

An MBA is strongly preferred.

 An understanding of the database technology/software and markets is
also preferred and a knowledge of  languages (C++, Smalltalk) is a
plus.

Applicants should have excellent organizational, managerial, and
administrative skills. They should have excellent business judgment
and the ability to craft creative and effective marketing programs.
Strong writing and presentation skills are required.
