Software Engineer - Sftw Installation / Hdwr Diagnostic programs for a

You will be responsible for developing Software Installation and
Hardware Diagnostic programs for their family of Ethernet adapters.
You will develop graphical user interfaces to enhance the product.  A
key goal will be to help the user obtain success with product without
calling for support.  You will also maintain or enhance LAN device
drivers for both Microsoft and SCO Unix connectivity to evolve the
products with new NOS initiatives.  

You will work a team of talented software developers and software test
engineers to cooperatively produce next-generation software releases
for a large family of LAN products. Company located in San Jose.


You must have a minimum of tree years LAN product development
experience and understand hardware register-level interfaces.
Proficiency in C and 808x assembler is a must.  Experience with C++
and GUI toolkit such as Zinc is desirable.  Requirements also include
a BSCS or BSEE Degree
