The above toner cartridges & more types below are all based on the NEC 870.

This unit seems a little better than earlier Minolta/Lexmark/ NEC/ Epsons,
from an engine/ cartridge/ drum point of view. We regularly reload the
toner cartridges, for the NEC 870 version, and others below, without users
getting into problems. No components currently exist to remanufacture the
drums but they're rated for 20,000 prints.

But this is where Epson/Lexmark/ NEC and Minolta (the SP 302 is the
prototype for all) give users a break, as the little drums are only about
$US80.00; while the OEM 3,000 print toner cartridge is $US60.00 and the
6,000 print type is about $US95.00.

Image Control can reload these for: 3K - $US29.00, and 6K $US39.00

The 3K version, without the handle is also used in:

Defax - 6500/ 7500
Epson - 5500W
Gestetner - 6206
Minolta - Fax 2500/ 3500/ 5500 & Pagepro/ Pageworks 6 series
Okifax - 5800
Muratec - F95/ 100/ 120/ 150
Ricoh - 1700
Savin 3650/ 3655
Sharp - FO 4500/ 5600/ 6500/50 6600 & Verification Stamp FO45VS

Many of these OEM toner cartridges are much more expensive than Epson/ NEC
