I buy most of my parts from PixelUSA in Cambell mostly because I get good
service from them and have never gotten a bum part. They carry retail
Intel CPUs, Asus motherboards, Cube memory, etc.

I second his recommendation. I've been dealing with Tony at PixelUSA for...
something like 6 or 7 systems now. (Plus several customer boxes).

Their prices beat Fry's so often that I stopped checking.

Their printed return policies are a bit facist, but I've only needed to do
one return and they swapped directly across.

oh, I left out the obvious(?) ... http://pixelusa.com naturally :)

full catalog and price list is on the web. in fact, if you get stuff in
the store, they use a web terminal to look up the prices on their own
website :) Its been *very* rare that something they carry which I wanted
wasn't in stock (and they usually get it that afternoon or the next day).

now, they pretty much *only* carry mainstream clone stuff. Don't go
there looking for some oddball raid card or whatever. They only carry a
few brands in any given category, and when a particular brand of stuff has
turned out to be problematic, they drop it like a rock.
