Hi, I'm looking for newsgroups to subscribe to which my wife (math student par excellence) can ask--and perhaps answer some--vexing questions without being made to feel like an idiot. She is currently in first year calculus and aspires to the advanced study of statistics (yuck--she really enjoyed the first class). Also, I've been searching for FAQ's or Newsgroup Descriptions for the various math newsgroups, but haven't found any. Thus, this post. Any help with any of the above would be greatly appreciated. TIA Keith -- --Place pithy quote here--
