There's an organization whose name I've forgotten, it's something like 'stars' or a similar educationally-styled inspiration. Anyway, they train primary and secondary school teachers to teach math in a stunningly captivating way. It's like a high speed socratic method, like philosophers on adrenaline. I had the opportunity to see them hold the attention of a classroom full of fourth graders, to most of whom english was a second language. I, as one who suffered enough bad teaching to merit a B.S. in Math, was delightfully amazed. It was a year ago that I saw this group, and now I'd like to contact them again. Does anyone know how I might find them? Chris
