 10-week volleyball play starts this Tuesday in Santa Clara!

A 10-session class of co-ed volleyball is starting this Tuesday, 
8/31/04, in Santa Clara.  Come out and join us for some casual play 
volleyball.  This is a fun and relaxed way to get some good exercise; I 
would categorize it as beginner to low intermediate.  In fact, beginners 
are welcome!

The class begins with a little bit of warm-up, and then we break up into 
teams to spend the majority of each class in competitive, yet low-key, 
games.  Depending on the number of people that show up for a specific 
evening, we play with anywhere from three to six players on a side. 

So if you are looking for a nice environment in which to get some 
regular exercise and make some new friends, come along and sign up for 
this 10-week session of volleyball play!

The class is held at the Adult Education Center/ Educational Options 
located at 1840 Benton Street.  Jim Wilks will be our coach again.  A 
Jazzercise class gets out at 7:35 PM, after which we set up the nets and 
warm up.  Then we usually play from around 8 PM to 10 PM.

Classroom drills will include serving, passing, hitting
and digging.  Class time will be structured with drills,
demonstrations and game play. Some review of drills
and basic skills but emphasis is on team play.

Pre-registration required.
