Do you have a few favorite places in the Bay Area that seem to have
their own peculiar enchantment?

Perhaps a favorite cafe or park, perhaps a roadside stop with a vista
view, perhaps a restaurant or theater or music venue.  (One friend of
mine even has a few favorite alleys, though I've never particularly
understood this.)

Enchantment sometimes shows up where we expect it and sometimes where
we least expect it.

I'd just like to invite anyone to share their favorite enchanted places
in and around the Bay Area, from San Jose, to San Francisco, to Marin,
to Oakland, Berkeley, and beyond.
