Yeah, the Onion is rather sad.  The latest issue has a story saying
that presidential assassins are undecided about which candidate to
kill.

I don't mind satire, but the Onion goes over that top in a Melanie
Morgan snarky kind of way.

Oh, by the way, I have it on some authority that her contract was not
renewed because Citadel is antsy about her comment that someone should
shoot House Speaker Nancy Pelosi right between the eyes.  This is
apparently also the reason why Citadel is not reconsidering Bernie
Ward, either.  They apparently don't want to retain talkshow hosts who
may cause them PR trouble.

To be honest, I think that canning Melanie Morgan and Bernie Ward were
both good calls.  I didn't think so at first about Bernie, but how,
really, could KGO recover from the PR problem if they hired him
back?
