For Fall '98, Noam Chomsky Coop, a group of college-educated professionals is seeking parents (& students) for a kindergarden coop class in San Francisco of 5 to 6 students. Students' parents rotate teaching the class in our homes on day out of every 5 or 6 days. Free of cost except for materials. Class materials follow tha group from home to home. all each parent needs is 5 or 6 table spaces & ideas. Chomsky Coop offers an advanced education alternative with more than 4X more personal attention than other schools! Children go on many field trips to tide pools, museums, forest biomes, a farm, etc. For example, on a day when other children sit at desks in groups of 22, our children may be on a picnic trip to Muir woods studying banana slugs and forest ecology. A 7-seater van is available for field trips. Chomsky Coop offers before and after-care for working parents. Our children creatively explore the reasoning of their ideas. You share equally in the curriculum. children advance faster in reading, writing, creative math problem solving and the sciences. Diverse materials used in art. Children should love to learn.
