I use FreeAgent to cruise the newsgroups, it decodes and sorts all the

crap automatically. It can be found at:

it's free betaware

To set up Free Agent, you will need to know your news and mail server
addresses.
For Netcom users:
our mail servers is: SMTP.IX.NETCOM.COM
our news servers is: NNTP.IX.NETCOM.COM
The address can be found in your help files. "search ip address"

To view binary attachments, LViewPro is the best I've seen so far, it
can be downloaded from:
http://coyote.csusm.edu/cwis/winworld/winworld.html
in the viewer directory.
It uses very little memory and can open multiple binaries.
Don't forget to associate the .jpg and .gif's with this program in
your file manager.
It will also create indexes, which you will want to do if you become a
posting fool too.
In the comm section pick up a copy of the cybercom.drv super driver.
It has installation directions included.
