Hey Everyone I'm looking to separate the content and design/HTML elements on a fairly large video gaming website, but I honestly just don't have the time or motivation to learn an entirely new programming language. I know HTML like the back of my hand, and javascript and CGI enough to write basic scripts, but I'm afraid I'm pretty much a database virgin. So I was wondering if anyone would be willing to point me in the direction of an individual or a company that would be able to set this up for me. The website is more of a hobby than anything, and I don't make any money off of it, so I don't have a lot of cash to spend. I do, though, regularly get sent promotional items and videogames to review from console developers, so I'd definitely be interested in bartering if someone happens to like games as much as I do. The design that I made is at http://216.162.102.114/main.shtml until it goes live, and I'd like the main portion (where it says site news and such), to be able to be changed through web-based form connected to a MySQL database. There would also be different sections for the site, like reviews and whatever, that would need pages to be actually *created* from a form, using the same design. I don't need anything to be searchable, or even automatically linked, as I wrote a CGI program for that. I only need for a staff member that doesn't have any HTML skills to be able to create a page without messing up the underlying design. I've heard from a few people that this isn't very complicated to do, but nevertheless it's beyond my own capabilities at this point. Suggestions? Anyway, if there's someone out there in PHP land who could lend me a hand, I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a buzz at amos@psxnetwork.com or amos7@earthlink.net. Thanks in advance. Oh, and if it was way out of line for me to post this, please feel free to beat me up with my own leg and completely ignore this message. I honestly wasn't sure how this sort of post would be accepted...
