I installed PHP4 on windows 2000 with IIS5 and the "mail()" function works
properly but...

the body of every message begins with a bunch of header information. Very
messy. Is there any way to get rid of this?

I found the problem: if I include an "X-Mailer: " in the headers the body of
the message is unmolested. Note to anyone else having the problem. I just
set "X-Mailer: PHP"
