I have a little prog that uploads a singel file to my website, changing
###.###.###.### to my current IP

I can then get the page to use the include fuction to open a file from my
local server if i am online, but if i am not online it gives a messy error
message

I thought about trying "is_file" are "file_exists" but neither seam to work
over HTTP (rather than local file system)

Any ideas ?

Suggestions.

1) Try a cgi script instead.

2) Handle errors yourself
