Recognizing the First World Language?

This coming Saturday, January 26th of the Dragon,  en San Francisco de
Alta California, hosted by the oldest & most famous club for the game
in the so-to-speak "barbarian" world:

{2013 Jiang ZhuJiu Ing Cup
This is the biggest Go event in the Bay Area. It is a one day
tournament with four rounds. There is an open section for the top 16
rated players, and a handicap section (30 kyu - 6 dan) with 4 prize
divisions. There are $3000 in prizes!}

notice linked below tells us that 40 players of all levels and ages
from the Jiang Zhu Jiu Goe [sic] School in Shanghai will attend, led
by Yu Bin 9P, former Fujitsu title holder and by Jiang Zhu Jiu

noble & relatively long-established tournament from its traditional
two day weekend format.}

The impending reappearance here in Panchoville of my former teacher &
employee, the very famous hero of the game, Jiang "Jujo" 9P, Prince of
China,  reminds me of two pearls that JJ dropped by the way years ago
already:

First, "_go_* is the world language."
Second, "_go_ is a peaceful game, about sharing."

* Quoting these remarks raises the issue of the name of the game in
our English tongue, as I have written several times before. Personally
I have long proposed that we agree to drop the misleading  Japanese
word, which confusingly mimics an ancient, basic English word of
completely different meaning. On reflection, does the native English
speaking reader find that "turff" would do nicely to tag this new
cultural phenomenon? Or does she have a better nominee? Or shall we
simply keep drifting down the muddy ole ribba, Huck?

Bymeby, I daresay, after We the Human Race have arrested the biggest
warks [see below, Glossary] starting with Ole King Henki, Obomber,
Netanyahu & their Kabal, then we will constitute the Democracy of
Earth. One of our early & fundamental actions, speaking of us the
Seven Billion (at least), will be choosing our Common Tongue, the
Second World Language --after "turff", one of whose traditional
nicknames in Chinese = "handtalk".

Who can predict which speech we will pick on that Big Day? Maybe a big
language such as Chinese or Spanish, maybe a rather small one for a
more neutral pivot. In the latter case, the only size requirement
would be that the Chosen Nation be large enough to provide teachers
for our whole race. Nearly 40 years ago I announced my personal
preference for Vietnamese written in suitably modified Arabic script.
But, again, who can tell? Cross that bridge when we come to it, as the
proverb has it.

Again, in the meantime, our vast populations speaking different
tongues had mo' betta get ourselves together to defeat the murderers
already mentioned. Should we encourage intellectual leaders of all
nations individually & personally to establish at least a polite
acquaintance with turff? Then let us imagine one important thinker who
speaks only Arabic and another who speaks only Quechua. Should the two
somehow realize that they should communicate with each other, then
they will require a translator. If, however, they have both reached
the level of at least 20 kyu, say, then they can also speak directly
between themselves, which may prove helpful.

Anyway, earlier in the evening I played a game on KGS with an opponent
on another continent [often I forget to ask where in the world the
other player is, focussing only on his (or her) strength]. After we
had finished scoring, we began to chat.

By the time I decided to save our convo, much of the opening
transcript had already been lost. "Komulink38" had ID'd himself (?) as
a 21 year-old student in Paris focussing on French literature of the
17th & 18th centuries. In response to my standard survey Q: "Whom
since 1900 do you most admire?" He answered, "Albert Camus" and then
politely asked my own choice, witch's Ho Chi Minh. I also asked did he
recognize the name of Robert Faurisson, at which point the record
begins....

which permits cheaters to escape from lost games. Over many years, the
nameless & shameless minions of "WMS", called "admins", incessantly
prevaricate in response to the ceaseless complaints of those who have
