Have any of the gay/lesbian organizations ever compiled such a thing? I had little choice of what GP to choose due to restrictions from my hmo. Not only was I required to select from their list of doctors who are associated with that particular hmo, but only one of them was accepting new patients at the time. Although I didn't withold any pertinent information (specifically, my sexual orientation) from him, and he didn't seem overtly homophobic, I didn't get the impression that he was genuinely concerned about my health and well being. (Actually I think the issue here was not one of homophobia, rather than one of business: he seemed to be more interested in me as another item to be billed.) If I had had an option, I probably wouldn't have chosen him as my GP. But (back to the original question) how do you go about finding one, especially in a new city? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ken bass aka: kenbb@netcom.com God, what hath thou done, lately?
