I'm going to be giving a very short "seminar" on how telephones work
to several groups of elementary school students (K-2) this week,
and can't seem to find anyone who can lend me, rent me, or sell
me a few old telephones for display & play. These should not be
valuable antiques, rather the opposite! I do have a beat up old
intercom (wood with bakelite receiver cone), but would like to get
a sampling of phones, and am not fussy about the type: old princess
models, any old black dial phone, etc. Just about any old phone will
do, so long as it isn't expensive!

Anyone who has old telephones they wouldn't mind parting with, or
who knows of a good source for this sort of article, please feel free
to call me or send e-mail, I (and about 40 little kids) would appreciate
it very much!
