Due to the total solar eclipse, zok was in auto pilot mode for most
of the month. :-) The UUCP X11 archive here has just been updated
with all of the latest & greatest from export.lcs.mit.edu. So, if
you've recently obtained a /usrX/ls-lR.Z you might want to pick up
a new one.

See the comp.windows.x FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) for info
on how to set up a UUCP connection to zok.

As an aside, for those of you who have not seen a total solar eclipse,
do it! My wife & I were on the S.S. Constitution about a hundred miles
off the coast of Kailua Kona, Hawaii for the 11-July-91 eclipse. Words
can not adequately describe it. Stunning. One can watch videos, look
at pictures, read books, but it's *not even close* to the real thing.

Here's a list of the total solar eclipses for the rest of the millennium:

  Date Location Duration of Totality
  --------- --------------------------------------- --------------------
  30-Jun-92 South Atlantic Ocean 5:20
03-Nov-94 South America (Peru, Bolivia, Argentia, 4:23
             Brazil) and South Atlantic Ocean
24-Oct-95 Iran, India, Thailand, Philippines and 2:09
             Pacific Ocean
  09-Mar-97 Mongolia, China, Siberia 2:50
26-Feb-98 Pacific Ocean, Panama, Columbia, and 4:08
             Atlantic Ocean
11-Aug-99 Europe (England, France, Germany, 2:22
             Austria, Hungary), Turkey and India

The next one over the USA is:

21-Aug-2017 Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, 2:40
              Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennesse,
              and North & South Carolina

Plan ahead. Be sure to see at least one during your brief sojourn
on this planet.
