Machine: Dec 5000(ultrix 4.2) and Sparc2(SunOS)
Window Manager: twm
Xrelease: X11R4
Problems:
========
1. xcalc ignores iconGeometry specification. The following
is part of my .Xresources (symliinked to .Xdefaults to make
sure the same specification works for Decwindows too, when
called froma different machine.)
....
xcalc*Label*font: *helvetica-medium-r-normal--14*
xcalc*iconGeometry: -400+0
xcalc*iconic: true
xcalc*foreground: blue
xcalc*background: grey60
xcalc*off*foreground: black
...
When I type xcalc &, it starts iconic, as it should, but it
ignores the location specification. THE XCALC ICON IS
ALWAYS BEING PUT AT +0+0 !!
2. I have rloginTerm*iconGeometry: -500+0; when I start more
than one rlogins and iconize them, they pile on top of each
other. Is there any switch to ensure that if an icon is
already there, put the new icon near it
(Near:left/right/bottom/top etc.).
So much so that even clicking MB3, the right mouse button on
icons doesn't cycle through the pile.
In fact, is there a way to set some default so that all the
icons get placed at the top or right, IN A "SMART" WAY.
KINDA LIKE THE NeXT DOES.
Thanks. --raj(rsingh@goliath)

Gauls! We have nothing to fear; except perhaps that the sky may fall
on our heads tomorrow. But as we all know, tomorrow never comes!!
