Hello, I have a question for anybody who is somewhat familiar with using X-Windows(specifically motif). I am running mwm on my Sun Sparc and got these two files from someone that allow you to change the window to 80/132 columns. The file for changing to 80 col. looks as follows: echo "^[[?3l" and the file for changing to 132 col. looks as follows: echo "^[[?3h" The '^' followed by '[' is a control character which can be entered using Ctrl-V. My question is this: Are there similar control character commands that allow you to change the size of an xterm from the command line? Any comments would be appreciated, please reply to email below: omar.farooq@att.com Thanx Omar
