I just have one question. A friend of mine in Los Angeles has MCI. for his T1. it is slooooooooooow. I wonder what ratio MCI is selling their T1 at versus their bandwidth to the NAP. Currently I have sprint link. not saying its much of an improvement over MCI. but atleast I can send data at a decent rate, My company is an internet provider in colorado. there are two other providers, both of them have MCI for their t1's. Our customers tell us that we have the fastest circuit. they tried the other providers, and they say that their lag time is really long. At one time I talked to MCI about their circuit for us prior to getting sprint link. I asked the MCI sales people if they can refer any subscribers to me that are isp's to compare the service they were recieving before making a decision. They told me they can't give out that info. I asked them if they can have someone call me. they tell me no way!. So I didn't go with MCI, my personal observation is this. 1. MCI is a slow network, I think they oversell their bandwidth 2. I don't think they know how to keep a install date 3. Overall. I think you would probably be better off with a 56k circuit from where ever versus a T1 from MCI Once again these are personal observations, based upon my experience with MCI.
