Oops... I must have missed that posting. Sorry 'bout that.

Ummm... I'm not sure if the fact that some lemmings may have jumped off
the cliff is a good reason to get me jumping shoes on ;) However, it
won't be the first time that a newsgroup was mistakenly created and
it started to grow.

I missed the post. I offer my sincere and extreme apologies for missing
such a post. I will henceforth check the balt.config newsgroups every
hour, without fail, to avoid be so incredibly foolish in missing such
an all-fired, important message and yours undoubted was. <this was sarcasm,
for the humorly deficient>
The protocol for creating newsgroups (whether under balt. or whereever)
can be found quite easily; just search for it ("USENET" on Yahoo is
a good place to start).
Analogy time: Man goes to a house. Knocks on the door and no one
answers. Being the enterprising type, he manages to find his way
into the house anyway and calls out "Anybody mind if I move in?"
Receiving no answer, he assumes that it's A-OK and makes himself
at home. 2 weeks later, the renter who lives there comes back from
vacation and is, justifyable confused by the circumstances. "Well,"
says Man#1, "I was unaware of the procedures in actually renting it
myself, and no one said anything when I asked, so I just went ahead
and moved in. Oh yeah... you're 2 weeks late in complaining about
it anyway."
