Four friends, a case of beer, a bushel of crabs, and a U-Haul truck! :)
Seriously though. When we moved we hauled most of the stuff our selves
to save some $$$$. We did however, hire a mover to take care of the
really heavy and baulky stuff - major appliances, bunk beds,
entertainment center(s), ...antique safe, two ton desk (get the
picture?). Cost $300 which was their minimum. They were with us all
day.
We wanted to move the other stuff ourselves anyway and we did it over a
period of a week, a little at a time.
I can't remember the name of the company but the number for "Worry Free
Movers" in the One Book looks really familiar (but not positive). At
least I seem to remember it being a "363" number.
