Much as Eva is a freind and acquaintance, I'd take her word for it. Local
ISPs include Clark Internet Services (Columbia), CharmNet (Baltimore), and
Digital Express, aka Digex (Beltsville). Alll are pretty good, full
service providers. They each have different rate schemes based on service
level and payment schedule. You can get the ClarkNet FAQ at ftp.clark.net
/share/clarknet.faq. CharmNet can be reached via telnet at charm.net.
Digex can be reached via telnet at access.digex.net. All of them allow
on-line signup, with a valid credit card. Hope this has been of some
help.
