Like, Janis Jopin said, "Ya gotta try harder" Seriously, I do not work at Hopkins but HR departments are to avoided at all costs. You have to figure out where you want to work at JHU or JHMI---Make some phone calls and get the names of decision makers in those areas, send them a brief one page letter and followup with a phone call asking for a meeting.
