Between 11 this evening (Thursday November 26) and 11:15, and again between 6 and 7 tomorrow morning, the link between Vancouver and Seattle will be out of service for brief periods. During the outages, BCnet's traffic to the NSFNET will be routed via Toronto and Ithaca, New York. The outages are so that INSINC, the supplier of the new 384 kbps data circuit, can attempt to correct CRC errors on the circuit. -- Mike Patterson, BCnet manager
