There is no censorship. AOL has something like 20 million subscribers and none of them post to any of the newsgroups I subscribe to. AOL users are generally considered to be slightly stupider than webtv users and I for one couldn't care less if they are kicked off Usenet by their online service. AOL users should get a real internet service if they are worried about losing Usenet but in any case they could access it through Google groups. AOL might be making a very wise decision by cutting off access to Usenet through their poorly regarded newsgroup reader. Lots of child pornography and other loathsome material is available through Usenet servers such as Shaw and hopefully parents, legal guardians, and the RCMP and FBI will punish the providers, prosecute and imprison the makers and levy a huge monetary penalty. As for censorship: All Hells Angels are child raping scumbags and hopefully the House Of Chocalates will be the target of a poisoning same as the pickle jars at Western Grocers and Super-Valu. Remember street punks stealing a car with HA support stickers is way cool and the cops might drop charges if they see fit to put tracking and listening devices inside the vehicles once they are recovered.
