There's at least one mail-order company which sells them, but I don't have names or phone numbers handy, sorry. The name Campmor rings a bell. The only North American manufacturer I know of is Custom Cycle Fitments in California, owned by John Forester and his partner Dorris Taylor. They make the cape to your exact measurements seated on your bike, and they can also supply a matching helmet cover (with a long neck flap), spats (for the fronts of your legs), and shoe covers. The cape has waist ties, thumb loops and shoulder vents. The catalogue I have is a couple of years old now, but it lists the set of cape, spats and helmet cover at $60, US of course, which is very reasonable for custom-made clothing. And if you don't have fenders on your bike, then nothing is going to keep you dry! -- I've all my wisdom teeth |Crash Test Dummies Two up top, two beneath |"Bereft Man's Song" And yet I'll recognize | My mouth says things that aren't so wise |richard@mindlink.bc.ca
