Hi there,

Any of you have an old, inexpensive laptop or notebook that you do
not want anymore ?

I would like it to have at least:
  - a readable screen
  - a small harddrive
  - a serial port (or an open ibm pc slot)

It can have any type of processor and any amount of RAM.

I would like to set up a cheap terminal for travel (will act as a
dumb terminal most of the time). The catch is that I'd like to have
9600bps modem capability. If the machine has a serial port I can buy
a WorldPort 9600bps pocket modem and if it has a free slot, I can put
in an internal 9600.

I would really appreciate if you could let me know if you have a machine
like this you would like to get rid of or if you know of anyone else that
does. Do not worry about the modem, I will probably pick up separately.

Thanks,

Al
