RP Electronics price = $2.49 ea
I ordered a package of 50 from Jameco about a year ago. Saved a bundle even  
compared to RPE.

Now, I purchase from a local wholesaler.
A DE9 solder-type 9 pin D-Sub (male or female) at a local (Vancouver)  
wholesaler (a probable source for RPE) has a price of 
$0.28 each qty 1+
$0.22 each qty 50+

That's one helluva mark-up!!!
