That is a contradiction in terms ! All places that sell cheap 486DX are
interested primarily in the sale and will not provide very good after
sales support (ie. Cardz, Doppler etc).

They all say they provide support but in my experience and the experience
of many of my friends this support is just not very good.

These types of places are geared to SELL, SELL, SELL. Their business
mandate seems to be: put the effort into that first sale to a new customer and
do not worry too much over support since he/she probably will not buy from us
again anyway. Yes, of course, this is a stupid business mandate since not
only will I not buy again at a place that has bad after sales support but
I will never recommend the place to any friend or business associate.

BTW, I have just spent close to a year talking to and buying lots of
equipment from local and non-local vendors so I have some feeling for it.
On the other hand, I could just be a very unlucky person and get bad after
sales support from these types of places.
