Hi... I have made the following observations about immigration. 1.It is much more difficult to re-enter the US after a trip to Vancouver, especially at the Blaine/White Rock border crossing. 2.It appears that the highest crime rate in the Lower Mainland is in the Eastern Municipalities, and Richmond. Surrey is FAMOUS for having a substantial number of skinheads (being white, I don't have to worry about them thrashing me). 3.The crime rate PERIOD is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH lower than in the city of Bellevue (east of Seattle). Canadians should be proud of this fact. The way to keep it this way is to stop attracting white trash to Canada. I know this is probably unpopular with some people, but its the ONLY way. If immigration from the US were curtailed for a period of 5 years(noticed how I said curtailed, not *banned*), the crime rate would stablize quickly. I am a US citizen that is fed up with the high crime rate in my part of the country. 4.Hire more customs agents, and strengthen laws pertaining to drugs, racketeering(operating an illegitimate business), extortion, and assault. Sincerely, Brian Bradford bradford@3-cities.com
