Sorry for the cross posting this however we have a crisis under way
over attempts to privatize health care. Mass spontaneous
demonstrations have broken out.
The Alberta Government in Canada is trying to pass a bill (Bill 11)
that would privatize health services in the province. This is a threat
to the national Medicare system that we have. Mass protests have
erupted in the province as the arrogant government attempts to push
through the bill using closure of debate in the legislature.
On Saturday April 15 over 4000 people rallied in Calgary Alberta to
protest 
Bill 11, 8000-9000 rallied in Edmonton Alberta on Sunday April 16.
As the bill has entered third and final reading the government has
said it wants it passed by easter. As the house sits each night since
Monday mass demonstrations have occured including occupations of the
legislature.
Your support and voice is needed to show solidarity and help stop this
bill.
