Can BC survive an NDP/Green alliance? Read about it in the BC Free Press at
http://www.bcfreepress.bc.ca.

After reading this and a small article in my local newspaper, where a
member of the Green Party seems to have great faith in that an NDP/Green
alliance will lead to victories in many ways for both parties, I have to
question the intelligence of any of the people involved in this scheme.

If I was, God forbid, a member of the green party, the last thing I
would be looking for is a ride on a dying horse. If those clowns think
that they can jockey on the backs of a party that is in such shambles as
the NDP, you have to wonder if they aren't just a couple of marachino
cherries short of a fruit cake.

In so far as the NDP is concerned, they may be a leftist government in
theory. But to ally themselves with people who are just shy of
communists and seem to believe that we should all wear hemp Fruit of the
Looms and start to erode an already weak economy, well, that's the last
thing I'd want as the NDP. Especially if I was trying to salvage some
form of dignity as I was being ungraciuosly ushered out the door of
provincial politics.

Good points. But it looks like the NDP may be enlisting their buddies in the
environment lobby groups to get the Greens under control. Is it just a
coincidence that both parties have cleaned house within the past month? Read
about it in the BC Free Press - Green Party and NDP Clean House in Lock-Step
at http://www.bcfreepress.bc.ca.
