Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to inquire about your empty toner and inkjet cartridges (e.g.
laser printer, laser fax, personal copier, inkjet, bubblejet, etc.). I am
presently organizing a "recovery drive" to raise money for the Ronald and
Marion Hughes Memorial Project. I am looking for the following cores and
cartridge shells:

* Apple: All LaserWriter and StyleWriter cartridges
* Canon: All laser printer, inkjet, fax and personal copier cartridges
* Epson: All ActionLaser and Stylus inkjet cartridges
* Hewlett Packard: All laser printer, inkjet and fax cartridges
* IBM / Lexmark: All laser printer and inkjet cartridges
* NEC: All SilentWriter laser printer cartridges
* Panasonic: All PanaFax and personal copier cartridges
* Sharp: Z-20, 23, 25, 27, Z-30

Anything that you are willing to contribute to this fund raiser would be
greatly welcomed and appreciated. I will personally pick up any empty
cartridges you have available. There is absolutely no cost to participate
in this "free disposal" programme. Nor is there any minimum quantity
required.

This project is to be a memorial dedicated to my late Grandparents, Ronald
and Marion Hughes. And involves the planning, design and installation of
a memorial gardens and the complete restoration of the Hughes family
heritage home. The home, which has been in the Hughes/Allan family for
more than 40 years, is a 1910's - 1920's two storey bungalow. Located in
South Vancouver, this residence is unique in the neighbourhood. The
home's history pre-dates City of Vancouver records. Vancouver's earliest
archives only contain a permit when the residence was raised from a single
storey, to its present two floor plan in 1926. Newspapers in the walls,
used as insulation, document the home's history could date to 1912 (or
earlier). Funding is urgently required to halt and repair major
structural deterioration to the roof, exterior siding and building
envelope. Money also needs to be raised, to implement an ambitious
interior and exterior restoration of this heritage home. Details and full
disclosure of this and other matters can be found at:
http://www.geocities.com/njallan/.

As both of my Grandparents were avid recyclers, and lovers of nature and
the environment, it would be fitting that this project be funded from the
proceeds of recycling related endeavours. Any support or assistance you
can provide, would be greatly appreciated. I can be reached by
telephone: 439-7082, fax: 435-7732 or email: njallan@yahoo.com. I look
forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Noel J. Allan
