lag in bf2 servers

Een vriend heeft sinds de 1.3 patch van bf2 enorm veel lag op de
-bd-server. Hij heeft al verschillende keren een format en reinstall
gedaan maar de lag blijft duren. Aan zijn verbinding ligt het niet,
omdat hij op andere servers voor hetzelfde game geen lag heeft.

Ook valt het op wanneer er een speler met hoge ping ( >100) de server
opkomt, hij ineens veel lag heeft.

Heeft er iemand enig idee wat er fout zou kunnen zijn?
