i'm writing a shared library which uses expat (an xml parser), and i want to
link my library against it, don't want expat compiled in, any idea on how i do
this with automake (the libtool manual only mentions how to do this with
libtool directly, not through automake, and the automake manual doesn't speak
of it)
i tried
libdobber_la_LDADD=-lexpat
and
libdobber_la_LIBADD=-lexpat
and
libdobber_la_LDFLAGS=-lexpat

but those compile expat into my library

(it is libdobber.la which i need, is it?)
