The program author normally does this help file _if_ the app is a SOHO generated one. If the app is a commercial project then a separate department will create it in conjunction with the development department. Corporations can afford to have others do the help files with the little guys who the usual clbvm users do their own. Larger SOHO might have a separate person do the help file yet this can be irregular. Sometimes the only person who can write the help file is the person who wrote the app. > >thanks > HTH
