Hy,
I'm new in C.

I work under Linux, with the Suse distribution.
To test my programs, I've wrote this simple program:

#include <stdio.h>
main()
   {
     printf("hy everyone");
    }

and saved it under 'test.c'
then I compiled it with 'gcc test.c'
everything seems to go correctly because I get the file a.out
Then I try to execute a.out by 'a.out' and the shell tells me :'command
not found'
Off course I'm in the good directory. I work in the directory
'/root/work'...
This is a ruff start in C programming when the simpliest program doesn't
work.
I suppose the problem is somewhere else.
Thanks for your help.
