Als Delphi ook goed is probeer dan eens dit:

  WSAStartup($101, WSAData);
  SockAddrIn.sin_addr.s_addr:= inet_addr(PChar(IPAddr));

HostEnt<>nil then
    result:=StrPas(Hostent^.h_name)
  else
