Here's a low tech solution which, considering the nature of the super electronic typewriter (the format of the disks are likely incompatible with any IBM or MAC PC compatible drive,) may be faster and cheaper than a high tech solution. Print the files. Scan with an optical scanner using a character recognition program, converting the scanned pages to text files for the word processor of your choice. You can even do it your self at very little cost; a simple sheet fed scanner and good character recognition software cost about $300 US. Scanning accuracy is amazing; just as an experiment I fed in a dot-matrix printed mailing list up-side down and only one error was generated out of 20 pages. Character recognition software is available for most languages (normal spelling, character set, special forms, and context are used to aid the recognition.)
