Hoe kan ik die property via de code instellen. Ik heb dit geprobeerd maar
het lukt niet. Ik krijg ook geen foutmelding dus...

Private Sub Form_Load()
  maakCon
  Set Text1.DataSource = conn
  Text1.DataField = rs.Fields(0)
End Sub

Volgende code staat in een module:

Public rs As ADODB.Recordset

Public Sub maakCon()
    Set rs = New ADODB.Recordset
    connstring = "Driver={MySQL ODBC 3.51
Driver};SERVER=localhost;DATABASE=avd;user=dirk"
    conn.avd.CursorLocation = 3
    conn.avd.Open connstring
    Set rs = conn.avd.Execute("select * from klanten")
End Sub
